Summer Opening of the Walled Garden and Month of Art 2026

Enjoy our beautiful gardens, cafe and outdoor terrace during the Summer opening of our Walled Rose Garden. Explore the gardens featuring 2,000 rose bushes and 20 different varieties of roses plus historical features of the Estate including our quirky Crinkle Crinkle Wall, 11-metre-high summerhouse and Roman Vase.
Open Thursday - Sunday, from Thursday, 2nd July to Sunday, 26th July 2026.
The opening of the grounds coincides with our Month of Art celebration where visitors can watch local artists at work, view and purchase their artwork and take part in workshops.
Visitors to the garden on the last weekend of July are invited to vote for their favourite artworks, with the winning artist receiving a prize of £1,000.
Tickets can be booked in advance or, depending on availability, purchased on the gate.
