Right in West Springfield, the Josiah Day House was built in 1754 and is the oldest brick saltbox-style house in the country. You can walk through rooms with original 18th-century furniture, hear stories about the Day family, and learn about local history. Whether you’re a history buff or just curious, it’s a unique spot to explore and a perfect excuse to get outside and enjoy the charm of the season.
Admission is $5. Children under 6 years old are free.
