Join Wisconsin BHA and partners for a fun summer of stewardship activities focused on the Chippewa Valley region!
Projects will include removal of old interior barbed wire fencing and possibly some invasive tree control in surrounding grassland units.
What to bring:
Long pants
Work type boots (preferably steel or composite toe),
Safety glasses
Leather gloves for grasping the barbed wire
Personal items such as sunscreen, bug spray and water.
Some extra PPE such as safety glasses and gloves will be on hand incase you forget! All other tools will be provided. These stewardship activities will lead to better access for federal personal and contractors and provide hunters, other outdoor enthusiasts one less obstacle to cross when navigating YOUR PUBLIC LANDS!
