Are you bread-y for it? We want to see what you can bring to the inaugural Summer of Loaf Bread Making Competition at the Whitley County Farmers Market.Breads can be placed in either the sweet or savory category, with all being judged based on flavor, texture, creativity, and presentation. Each category will be worth 25 points, making a possible cumulative total of 100. We will have three judges for the event, however their identities will remain secret until the competition.
There will be first, second, and third place winners in the sweet and savory category respectively, with the highest scoring of the six being crowned the overall winner. All winners will receive a ribbon, congratulatory certificate, and other prizes to be announced closer to the competition.
