Summer Nature Academies | Zombies Survival For Fifth - Sixth Graders (Ages 10 - 12)
Our specialized Summer Nature Academies are a great way to get children off the couch and into nature this summer! We offer immersive, hands-on outdoor experiences with fun weekly themes led by professional educators and naturalists. If your child loves to explore and learn, our academies are the perfect opportunity!
Zombies are attacking the nature center! Participants will hone their wilderness survival skills as they escape the zombie apocalypse. They will learn to cook over a fire, tie knots, construct a shelter, basic archery skills, track animals and more… all while avoiding being eaten! The week will end in an obstacle course challenge!
Zombies Survival Dates:
* July 24-26 (2-5 PM) #ZOMBIE.01
Registration begins April 15 for Shelby Township residents and April 22 for nonresidents. $60 per resident, $70 per nonresident.
