The Swiss Guard are a dynamic, Delaware Valley-based rock band fronted by vocalist and guitarist Justin Pope, whose charismatic stage presence and versatile voice help drive the band’s energetic live performances. Known for their tight musicianship and engaging connection with audiences, the group performs an eclectic mix of classic rock, pop favorites, and crowd-pleasing anthems. Blending polished arrangements with a fun, spontaneous spirit, The Swiss Guard bring a lively and memorable atmosphere to every event.
Dan Kassel is an innovative cellist who has transformed the role of his instrument in contemporary music. Combining classical technique with innovative live-looping technology, he creates lush, multi-layered soundscapes that transcend traditional genres. His music fuses elements of electronica, jazz, rock, and global traditions, offering audiences a deeply immersive and emotionally resonant experience. With performances at renowned venues like Times Square Summer Stage, World Cafe Live, and McCarter Theatre, Dan has captivated listeners across a wide range of settings, from intimate gatherings to grand stages.
Greg McGarvey is a versatile guitarist and songwriter known for his warm, expressive playing and thoughtfully crafted instrumental and vocal compositions that draw from folk, Americana, and contemporary acoustic traditions. His small ensemble brings together an intimate, dynamic sound that highlights nuance, interplay, and storytelling through music. For this performance, McGarvey is joined by Dan Kassel on cello, adding a rich, resonant layer to the ensemble’s texture and expanding the emotional depth of the arrangements. The result is a refined chamber-style collaboration that blends strings and acoustic instrumentation into an engaging and immersive live experience.
