Summer Movie Night: The Lion King

We are excited to share special screenings of animal film favorites! All are welcome at this community film night.

June 12: The Lion King (1994)
In this dazzling Disney film, a lion cub looks forward to following in his father's footsteps and becoming king of the pride lands one day. Unfortunately, his happy childhood turns tragic when his uncle murders his father and drives him into exile. Cast includes Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, Nathan Lane, Moira Kelly, and more. Directed by Rob Minkoff.

Suggested registration sliding scale of $5-$10 per person to attend.

The film will be screened on our big screen in the Pavillon. Joybound People & Pets is located at 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek. Free parking is available onsite. Our adoption floor is open Monday-Friday from 12:00-7:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 11:00 am-6:00 pm so come early to check out all our adoptable dogs and cats!
