Volunteers paddle Kejimkuijik lake looking for loons and chicks on one day in spring and summer. You don’t need to be a loon expert — if you're able to recognize a loon and feel comfortable paddling a canoe or kayak, we want you!This data plays an important role in helping Parks Canada biologists track loon distribution and assess the overall health of Kejimkujik's freshwater ecosystems.
