The Summer Leadership Academy offers school board members and district leaders a focused, budget‑friendly way to build practical skills over two in‑person sessions. Shaped by school directors, each training gives you tools you can use right away.
Join us for two days of learning:
Friday, August 21, 2026 • 3:00–5:30 PM (choose one)
- Deciphering the District Budget (this training may extend by an additional 15-20 minutes to dedicate time for discussions and questions)
- Advancing Inclusion through Belonging
Saturday, August 22, 2026 • 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (choose one)
- Serving as a Board Chair (NEW)
- Discovering Educational Disparities
Location: WSSDA Office, 225 College Street NE Olympia
Cost: $90 per session | $150 for two sessions (16% savings)
Refunds: Full refund available up until 7 days before each training.
Credit: Both equity trainings (Advancing Inclusion through Belonging and Discovering Educational Disparities) count toward the on educational equity for school board members.
