Kick off your summer at the Sands Point Preserve with an evening concert on our lawn featuring Shakedown Citi! As the sun sets, join us for a night of live music, waterfront views, and laid-back vibes.
Shakedown Citi is a fresh new force on the jam band scene, born in the heart of a Grateful Dead parking lot at Citi Field. Rather than imitating the Dead, Shakedown Citi channels their spirit – creating spontaneous, soulful performances that feel alive, adventurous and totally in the moment. Each set is a journey, full of unexpected twists, deep grooves and musical conversation that pulls even the most skeptical listener into the vibe. It’s not just a tribute – it’s the Dead, reborn.
Bring a picnic dinner, snack, or beverage, or take advantage of one of our great food trucks. And stay tuned for more details about our vendor village!
The concert is rain or shine and will be held either outside on our Great Lawn or inside in our Black Box Theater (depending upon the weather).

Gates open at 6pm, concert starts at 6:45pm
Admission: (includes parking and convenience fees)
Advance ticket: $35 per car
Day of Concert: $50 per car
