Join us for our next LGBTQ+ hiking adventure as we explore the beautiful trails of Bittner Park in Guilford! After the hike, we'll enjoy a casual picnic together before anyone who's interested heads over to Bishop's Orchards for some well-earned ice cream.

📍 **Where to Meet**
**Bittner Park**
**1450 Durham Road, Guilford, CT**
When you enter the park:
• Drive straight through the parking lot as far back as you can.
• Bear to the **right** and continue all the way to the **back parking lot**.
• Our group will meet at the **end of the parking lot near the skate park**.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can start hiking promptly at 11:00.

🥾 **What to Expect**
Bittner Park is a hidden gem with peaceful wooded trails, gentle hills, and beautiful scenery. We'll enjoy approximately **1 to 1½ hours** of hiking at our usual relaxed, social pace.
Expect:
• Shaded woodland trails
• Gentle rolling terrain
• Plenty of conversation and laughter
• A welcoming pace for hikers of all experience levels
🐾 Leashed dogs are welcome!

🧺 **Picnic After the Hike**
Following the hike, we'll return to the park for a casual picnic together.
There isn't a formal picnic pavilion, so we recommend bringing:
• Your own lunch
• A camp chair or picnic blanket
• Plenty of water
• Whatever makes for a relaxing afternoon outdoors!
We'll gather near the athletic fields and bleachers to enjoy lunch together before wrapping up the day.

If you'd like to keep the fun going, we'll head over afterward to:

Grab an ice cream, browse the farm market, or simply spend a little more time catching up with fellow hikers. Their spacious outdoor seating area makes it a great place to relax after our adventure.
