Come to our Annual Summer Reading Kickoff, where you can register for summer reading, meet dinosaurs and snakes, create a prehistoric craft, and more! See the activity schedule for complete details:*10 am-2 pm: Register for Summer Reading and receive registration prizes!
*10 am-2 pm: Snap some fun photos at Punky's Photo Booth
*10 am-2 pm: Create art at the Jurassic craft table
*10 am-12 pm: Children can have their portrait drawn “dino-style”
*12 pm-1 pm: Play dino trivia
*12 pm-2 pm: Dino Buddies will be presenting! Meet real live reptiles and realistic “live” dinosaurs. Touch fossils and learn all you ever wanted to know about these ancient creatures!
Also, the Two Scoops of Sugar coffee truck will be selling beverages in the parking lot; you can meet Mr. T. Saurus, the library dinosaur; dig for dinosaur bones in the sensory bin; get your library card; and take home a great book!
Our Summer Fun Kickoff event is fun for all ages!
Dino Buddies and book bags were generously paid for with a grant from the Fayette County Travel and Tourism Bureau.
