Summer Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop - Community Garden in Streatham London
About this Event
Summer is the perfect time to prune stone fruit trees like cherries, plums, and apricots.
Patrick McCabe who is a Community Gardener will lead this interactive workshop. He will take us through the theory which underpins when and how to prune, the correct tools to use and lead some practical work in our lovely Garden. We will be start off in our education room before going outside, so please be prepared for any weather that July may bring and bring gardening gloves if you wish to use them. We’ll provide teas and coffees (and maybe a cake!) but please feel free to bring a light lunch to eat on site.
The course will take place in the amazing setting of Streatham Common Community Garden, the Rookery, Streatham SW16 3BZ.
The fees from this workshop will be used to help us maintain the Garden. Thank you for your support.
