Summer Foraging Course

Meadowsweet and fireweed, sorrel and yarrow, giant polypore and ripe berries and fruit all beckon in July.

See what edible wild herbs, mushrooms, and flowers grow in wood and grasslands and along riversides and hedgerows in summer. Come along for a wander, bring a basket and scissors, and we'll collect some edibles and learn about which wild foods to find and how to prepare them this time of year. We will have a few wild food and drink samples to finish the course, so please inform me of dietary requirements in advance.

We'll discuss about thirty species of plants and fungi, and the course will take place in any weather so come prepared !
