Do join us for this fun and educational equine based forage walk in Leicestershires beautiful countryside.
If you are interested in natural feeding, equine enrichment and keeping your horse in the best of health, then this is for you.
Horses are designed to browse hedgerows, trees, field margins and woodlands, naturally seeking out medicinal plants to keep their bodies in balance and to stay healthy. As a prey animal, it is not in a horse’s interest to be sick or lame, they intuitively know what they need in natures pharmacy.
In our attempts to domesticate them, we have removed their ability to naturally browse, and as such, we make all their decisions for them
I can help you to identify the plants, herbs, trees and weeds that are beneficial to your horses health, and also show you the plants to avoid. It is all natural, un processed and free!
