Summer Floral Design Series
About this Event
Join us this summer at Fiore Design Studio for a three-part floral design workshop series — a hands-on journey through the art and craft of working with fresh flowers. Whether you're picking up a stem for the first time or looking to sharpen your design eye, there's a class for you. Each 1.5-hour session is held in the evening and designed to be equal parts educational and inspired.
July 7 - Level 1
New to flowers? This is your starting point. We'll cover the essentials of flower care and processing — how to prep your stems, keep your blooms fresh, and understand what you're working with. You'll get familiar with different flower types and varieties, learn the foundational elements and principles of design, and then put it all into practice by building a classic round arrangement. You'll leave with a finished piece and the confidence to recreate it at home.
August 11 - Level 2
This class is for the arranger who wants to develop a more intentional design perspective. We'll explore color theory and how to build a palette that actually works, talk through how to choose the right flowers for a given look, and introduce garden-style design. Expect something a little looser, a little more organic — and a lot more Fiore.
September 8 - Level 3
For the final class, we'll explore modern floral design and draw inspiration from the principles of Ikebana to create work that's sculptural, intentional, and anything but ordinary. You'll learn how to use negative space, line, and structure as design tools, and leave with a piece that reflects a more elevated, editorial point of view.
All experience levels are welcome at each level, however if you've never worked with flowers before Level 2 and Level 3 will be difficult to pick up
