Get ready for an unforgettable night created especially for foster and adoptive families! ☀️
This event is all about helping families feel encouraged, connected, supported, and celebrated as they head into a new school year. We know the unique challenges many foster and adoptive families navigate, and this night is designed to create space for fun, community, and practical support.
✨ What to Expect:
Giant Inflatables, Rock Painting, Face Painting, Yard Games,
Delicious Food, Free Haircuts for Kids & Teens, Resources, Fun & Community Connection, And so much more!
School Supplies & Backpacks - Families choose what they need this year.

This event is completely free for foster and adoptive families, but registration is required so we can prepare enough supplies, backpacks, food, and activities for everyone attending.

ALL foster and adoptive families in Genesee & Livingston County!
🌟 Why We Host This Event:
• Celebrate foster and adoptive families
• Help children feel confident heading into the school year
• Create meaningful connection and community
• Remind families they are not alone
• Equip families with practical support and encouragement
🙌 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
It takes a huge team to create a night like this — and we need 40+ volunteers to help make it happen!
We are especially looking for:
• Event volunteers
• Barbers & hairstylists
• Activity helpers
• Food & setup teams
✔ All volunteers must complete a background check, teens may volunteer with a responsible adult.
📅 Volunteer applications due by July 6, 2026
📅 Current volunteers should sign up by July 14, 2026
