About this Event
Exhibit Open: 11am - 4pm Thursday through Sunday
Learn about the social history of Crawford County and 250 years of American History at the museum this summer! This exhibit will be placed throughout select areas of the museum and will share both quilts and coverlets from the collection of the Crawford County Historical Society as well as those loaned from others for display. The story of America has been commemorated and celebrated through multiple ways, one of which has been through textiles that were not just treasured, but used in homes, churches, and buildings across the country.
Dozens of quilts and coverlets will be displayed that either connect to major events in American history or are commemorative to our nation through red, white, and blue, stars, and more.
