Dig through a simulated archaeological site, uncover artifacts across time, then head to the studio to make something. Each Monday afternoon drop-in session brings a different art-making activity such as experimental printmaking, mixed-media collage, abstract watercolor, whimsical sculpture—all inspired by works on view.
Free for children, included with Museum admission for adults, and members are free.
There will be four Summer Dig and Create sessions. The archaeological dig will be open for drop-in from 2 – 4 pm, while the studio art project will be open for drop-in from 2:30 – 4:30pm.
