The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk welcomes visitors aboard the R/V Sound Explorer for public cruises throughout the summer!
Available cruises:
🦀 Marine Life Encounter Cruise: Study marine biodiversity from the water's surface down to the bottom for a first-hand understanding of Long Island Sound's interdependent marine life.
🌅 Sunset Cruise: Take a fun, relaxing boat tour to the Norwalk Islands, timed to include the setting sun and, with cooperation beyond our control, a dazzling western sky reflected on the water.
🦪 NEW! Oyster Town Harbor Cruise: Explore Norwalk’s rich maritime heritage and the vital role oysters play in shaping its coastal ecosystem. Guests will enjoy a tour through Norwalk Harbor as an Aquarium educator shares how the city earned its nickname “Oyster Town,” and why oysters continue to thrive here today.
🎆 Firework Cruise: Enjoy a unique water view of municipal holiday displays – and avoid the traffic jams afterward – when you cruise out on the Fourth of July with us.
