Summer Concert Series - THE AFRO LATINEERS
About this Event
Get ready for an electrifying night of rhythm, soul, and dance with The Afro-Latineers — a powerhouse NYC ensemble blending Afrobeat, salsa, Latin jazz, funk, and jazz improvisation into one unforgettable live experience.
Led by master percussionist Paul “Sabor” Rivera, the band channels the spirit of legends like Fela Kuti, Mongo Santamaria, and Stevie Wonder while creating a sound all their own — vibrant, soulful, and impossible to sit still to.
Expect infectious grooves, fiery percussion, soaring horns, and a high-energy performance that moves seamlessly from Afro-Cuban rhythms to deep jazz jams and dance-floor anthems. Whether you’re a jazz lover, salsa dancer, or simply looking for a great night out, The Afro-Latineers deliver music that brings people together and keeps the crowd moving all night long.
