Join us at Creative Bloc for our Summer Clay Club - handbuilding ceramic lessons🎨 Let's get messy and creative! We have tiered ticket pricing so no child is excluded from creative activities this summer - subsidised from our Pay It Forward scheme.

The lessons are 1.5hr long (including clean up) and will explore various handbuilding techniques. Lots of inspiring samples will be provided to spark imaginations and everyone will be encouraged and supported to design their own unique pots.

This is perfect for kids aged 8-15yrs* to express their creativity through clay. No previous experience is required and all materials and firing costs are included.

If only booking a single class, the tutor will glaze any pots kept afterwards** but if you book every week your child will be able to see their project through from start to end, including surface decoration and glazing.

*Our recommended age is just a guide and if you think your child would be comfortable in this group, they are very welcome.

**Finished pieces will be left to dry in the studio until they're ready for a final firing in the kiln. Ready to collect from the beginning of August - collection emails will be sent out when they're ready.

This is a drop-off class but parents are welcome to have a cuppa in the front room during the lesson if they would like to stay.

The Venue: Creative Bloc Glasgow is an arts collective and creative studio in Glasgow North-West. 814 Garscube Road, G20 7ET.

Public transport:First busses 60, 60A, 61 - Bluebird X10, X10A and West Coast Motors 17 all stop on Maryhill Road just 2 minutes walk away.Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross underground are approx 17mins walk.
