Join us for a slow summer afternoon of flowers, creativity, and connection at Rove Kyoto, Vancouver's beautifully curated Japanese-inspired coworking space.
Inspired by the colours of citrus, golden hour and the abundance of the summer harvest, this hands-on workshop showcases the beauty of locally grown flowers. Together, we'll design a lush vase arrangement featuring vibrant marigolds, sculptural eremurus, colourful dahlias and other seasonal blooms sourced from BC growers.
Working with locally grown flowers allows us to embrace the beauty of the season while supporting our local farming community. Expect designs that feel organic, airy and full of natural movement - bringing a little piece of summer sunshine into your home.
Each guest will design their own floral arrangement in a timeless white ceramic vase while learning the fundamentals of floral design, including composition, colour harmony and natural flower placement. Whether it's your first time arranging flowers or you're looking to refine your skills, this workshop is designed to be approachable, inspiring and enjoyable for all experience levels.
After the workshop, we'll continue the experience with a beautifully styled fruit-and-floral tablescape celebrating the abundance of summer. You'll have the opportunity to photograph your finished arrangement amongst fresh citrus and seasonal fruit- creating beautiful keepsake photos before taking your arrangement home.
Hosted inside Rove Kyoto, a thoughtfully designed Japanese-inspired coworking space that values creativity, craftsmanship, and community, this workshop offers a peaceful setting to slow down, connect with others and spend an afternoon creating something beautiful together.

Our workshops are intentionally kept small to create an intimate and relaxed experience with plenty of one-on-one guidance. Spaces are limited, and we can't wait to welcome you for an afternoon celebrating flowers, creativity and the beauty of the season.
