Summer Camp Week 4: K-Pop & Anime

Dive into the vibrant worlds of K-pop and anime—two cultural forces built on discipline, creativity, and unapologetic self-expression. This week blends high-energy dance training with storytelling exploration, creating a space where girls can be both performers and dreamers.This is not fan worship. This is skill-building through passion.Week 4 at The Gathering Place celebrates the artistry behind the phenomena. In our all-girls microschool environment, campers learn real K-pop choreography techniques, explore anime's narrative craft, and discover how dedication and creativity combine to create iconic performances and stories.

What Girls Will Experience
• K-pop choreography training (synchronization, formations, performance)
• Anime storytelling and character development workshops
• Vocal and performance technique basics
• Cosplay design and character embodiment (age-appropriate)
• Korean and Japanese cultural appreciation lessons
• Fan art and creative writing inspired by anime narratives
• Music video-style production and filming
• Stage presence and "idol" confidence trainingEach day balances physical training with creative exploration. Girls break down complex choreography, analyze what makes characters compelling, and work together to create performances that blend dance and narrative. They learn the discipline behind the dazzle.

• Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Cost: $300
• Parent Showcase (Friday): 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

After-Camp Option (Optional Add-On)

• Hours: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM | $135/week
• Includes: Math & Writing Tutoring + Martial Arts: Girls Defense (Monday–Wednesday)
