SUMMER BLAST - DAY CAMP | Aug. 12 &13| 9am-3:30pm| 4yrs old-8th grade
Get ready for the best two days of summer! Summer Blast is happening August 12–13 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and is open to kids ages 4 through 8th grade. Designed as a high-energy, Nickelodeon-style outreach event, Summer Blast is packed with fun, faith, and unforgettable memories for kids and middle school students across Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas. From carnival rides and slime to cotton candy, snow cones, special guests, and so much more—every moment will be bursting with excitement! It’s the ultimate summer event your child won’t want to miss.
Your children can enjoy all of this, for only $69 if you sign up before July 20th. On July 21th the price will increase to $99. This event is open to children ages 4 yr olds through students going into 8th grade. Now is the perfect time to grab your friends and sign up as a group! After I’ve registered my child/student, what’s next?
- Check your email for more information closer to the event.
How does Check-in work?
- Check-in will be 8:30-9am
- You will need to park and escort your child inside each day.
How does Check-out work?
- Summer Blast ends at 3:30pm. You may park your car and walk to the pick up area in front of the church building.
- Look for your child/students color group; they will be in the same location each day. Once you find your child/students group, you will be checked out by the lead teacher of the group
- Children will NOT be in their check-out locations before 3:30pm. Parents who arrive earlier than 3:30pm will be asked to wait in the parking lot.
- You will receive a check-out card with your child/students name and grade on it. Bring this check-out card with you everyday for pick-up. If someone else is picking up your child, be sure to give that person one of your child’s check-out cards with a parental permission note stating who will be picking up your child.
What provision is made for children with nut or dairy allergies?
Group leaders will be made aware of children who have food allergies and these children are given an additional red wristband to wear.
What should my child bring to Summer Blast Day Camp?
- You child will be receiving a colored wristband on the first day. They will be REQUIRED to wear this daily. This wristband will be their admission for the remainder of the days.
- Both Days wear a swimsuit under clothes and bring a towel.
- Water Bottle with your students/kids name on it.
- Bible & Notebook for Elementary & MS students
What items are not allowed at Summer Blast Day Camp?
- Cell phones
- iPods
- Electronic gaming devices
- Backpacks
- Toys from home (unless upon approval)
