Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk across St Mary’s Island Nature Reserve and discover some of the many birds passing through on migration.
Some likely species for this walk include: Spotted Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher, Sandwich Tern, Gannet, Mediterranean Gull, skuas, and Eider.
Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing.
Public Transport Directions from Newcastle: Board the 308/309 bus from Haymarket Bus Station and exit the bus at The Links Cemetery.
