We’ve joined BIAZA's Spotted on Site BioBlitz campaign along with dozens of UK zoos! It’s a campaign to find and record native flora and fauna - from birches to bees!
You can get involved here at the park on Bank Holiday Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 August.
Pick up a timetable at the Jungle Gift Shop, join in the activities and help our conservation team find out which native species call our zoo home and how we can help conserve them!
From pond dipping, stone turning and survey tiles to bird watching, sweep netting and insect counts!
Our conservation team and volunteers will be using the iNaturalist.org app to record native species found around the site and you can see everyone's progress here https://uk.inaturalist.org/projects/biaza-sos-summer-bioblitz
