Summer Band Blast at the Waterhouse Center
The Waterhouse Center at 51 Main St. in Kennebunk is the place to be on Sunday, Aug. 23, when Summer Band Blast kicks off at 5 p.m., rain or shine. The free concert is a benefit for Community Outreach Services (COS); concert-goers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to help those in need in the local community. This year’s concert is also a celebration of the 35th anniversary of COS. Local musicians Women of Note, Dana Pearson, Lincoln Continental, Skiff and The Dock Squares will perform at the event. In addition to the music, a raffle featuring wonderful items from the community will be offered, with all proceeds going to COS.
