🚶 TRAIL TALES
Take a self-guided hike starting at the west trailhead, where a story unfolds along the trail. This week’s featured tale is “The Birdwatchers” by Simon James—read as you wander and explore nature at your own pace.
🔧 TINKERS – Drop in during open hours for ever‑changing, hands‑on, self‑led activities. This week's adventures include:

📖 TALES – Enjoy our weekly story read aloud on Mondays at 2 PM by Door County Librarian Beth Lokken.
🎤 TALKS – A specialist brings each weekly theme to life on Thursdays at 2 PM. On July 9, experience the wonders of the breeding season through the eyes—and songs—of Door County’s birds! Join Paige Witek of the Door County Land Trust for an insightful guided hike exploring the complex and captivating behaviors birds display as they court, nest, raise young, and defend their territories.
🌼 JOURNEYS WITH JOAN – Continue summer nature exploration with Naturalist Joan Wilkie, Tuesdays at 1 PM. On July 7, discover the mysteries of migration in our fields and woodlands. Some creatures travel 10,000 miles or more to make it to our preserve! Suitable for all ages.
