They’re tiny, they’re everywhere—and they’re super important! Join us for "Don't Bug Me" on Thursday, August, 14th from 1:00-2:00pm. During this free activity kids will discover the amazing world of insects and why we couldn't live without them. From bees that help grow our food to ants that clean up the forest floor, you'll learn all about these amazing creatures! Head on over to the Werner Wildlife Museum summer Animal House for Kids for a 30 minute talk followed by a 30 minute activity, see you there.
Programs are free and are held in the museum’s backyard. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch to enjoy before the program.
Reservations for large groups are appreciated, but walk-in families and individuals are more than welcome. For additional information, call the Werner at 307-235-2108 or drop by 405 East 15th Street, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
