We have a great program of upcoming activities including:
- 16 February: GAG Day
- 20 February: Opening Party
- 23 February - 27 April: Summer-Autumn Season
What is G.A.G. Open Play Day?
A Give it A Go Open Play Day is a general public event to introduce those people who are new to the sport, interested in the sport or may want a refresher on the rules, structure, and strategies of kickball. You don't have to be an existing or current member of a kickball season to join. It is open to anyone curious about Australia鈥檚 newest sports league.
You should leave the Open Play Day with light understanding of:
- Emerald City Kickball pillars
- Structure of kickball game (fielding v. kicking)
- Rules and positions in the game
- Practice playing a game
- Experience the fun of kickball
- Connect with new people.
The Open Play Day is not a try out and doesn鈥檛 have any bearing on entry into the league / registration. Participating in G.A.G Open Day will make you feel more prepared before you play and help you understand the community you may be joining!
If you miss the GAG Day, you can still sign up for the season.
Stick around afterwards, and we'll head to our Kickball Clubhouse for some drinks and hangs.
