Join us in raising awareness, building support, and connecting with community resources as West Central Behavioral Health, along with community and state partners Youthcan603, Turning Points Network, Connor's Climb Foundation, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and TLC Family Resource Center, host a suicide awareness event on September 3rd at Stevens High School. Youthcan603 will be sponsoring a raffle prize of a $100 Amazon gift card!
We will have dinner and beverages available, followed by speakers and an informative Q&A panel discussion about suicide awareness and local resources for assistance. For younger siblings, Marko the Magician will perform his show that highlights self-esteem in the gymnasium.
This is a family event which we hope will open broader conversations and bring attention to the important topic of suicidal ideation, and the organizations in our community that can help students and parents.
