Shy Blossom Duo is an indie pop project creating soft, atmospheric music that blends mellow vocals with minimal acoustic arrangements. Known for intimate, stripped-down covers, the duo reimagines familiar songs with emotional depth and simplicity.
The project is led by singer-songwriter Adriana McDonald, who began developing her sound in 2020 after picking up the guitar and growing from bedroom songwriting into a focused creative path. She also performs with her original band, Shy Blossom.
She is joined by multi-instrumentalist Julie Copithorn, who plays bass, piano, and drums, and brings live performance experience from the School of Rock Fort Myers House Band.
Together, they create music rooted in emotional honesty and collaboration, blending indie pop sensibilities with a focus on expressive, understated arrangements.
