Explore the Sugar River Trail with Women Who Explore!

Join us for a scenic and social ride along the beautiful Sugar River Trail, starting at the New Glarus Visitor Center. This crushed limestone trail winds through peaceful countryside, wetlands, and small towns — perfect for a relaxed summer ride.

We’ll begin in New Glarus and ride to Monticello (6.35 miles one way), with the option to continue on to Albany (an additional 9.25 miles). You can choose your adventure:

• Monticello roundtrip: 12.7 miles
• Albany roundtrip: 31.2 miles

This event is open to all experience levels. Go at your own pace, take in the scenery, and enjoy connecting with other women who love the outdoors. Bike rentals are available at the trailhead if needed — just be sure to reserve in advance!
