Join us for a wonderful 2-day Advanced Class, where I will guide you through all the stages of making this stunning Bearded Iris with its opening bud and thickened stem with spathes at the top. We will also make some delicate and versatile Orlaya Grandiflora flowers. No cutters or veiners needed for these and they are super splashes of brightness for your cake arrangements. You will make all aspects of the flowers yourself, concentrating on the finer details of the Iris and bud but some pre made stems will be provided. I hope this will be an enjoyable class where I can share many new skills with you as well as relaxing with friends.
This is not a beginner class.
In addition to the cost, Sugar Delites Bearded Iris veiners are essential for this class. Cutters /Veiners can be purchased through me if required and I will send you full details on booking. Please bring your own basic flower making equipment. List provided on booking.
Included in the price: Flower paste from Saracino/by Arati Mirji , high quality concentrated and standard colours/dusts from various makers, glaze and dipping solutions, wires and tapes, handmade stamen. All consumables including greaseproof, bio safe Oasis replacement, kitchen foil, kitchen roll etc. and finally a vase for your arrangement with its own sturdy box for travel. Lunch on both days is included (Please notify me of any dietary requirements on booking ) as well as plenty of light refreshments as required throughout the weekend.
