Your Tutor
Zara Cosgrove is a textile artist and teacher, a mother of two daughters, and the owner of one much-loved cat, Betty. With over 25 years’ experience teaching textiles, a degree in Textiles, and a Master's in Fashion Knitwear completed at Central Saint Martins, she brings both deep expertise and genuine warmth to her work. When she’s not teaching, Zara can often be found pottering in the garden, dipping in the sea or happily surrounded by needles, threads, yarns and all things textile. Her classes at Makers Studio Eastbourne are calm, friendly and confidence-building, offering beginners clear guidance, individual support and the mindful joy of sewing.
