We are currently trying to raise funds for Sue's Liver Transplant and Medical expenses that are coming. Let me tell you a little about Help Hope Live, It is a tool that helps raise money under its umbrella of a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible and all money raised won't be taxed either. We won't have access to any moneys raised unless it is for medical costs. Which takes a lot of the unknowns out of where the money is going. Sue was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the Liver (Non Alcohol Related) She has been hospitalized numerous times for it as well. For the last year and a half she has had a weekly procedure to remove water from her belly that was not getting into her blood stream due to her Liver failure. She normally was getting 8L removed every week prior to TIPS with more remaining. Now its down to 7.5-6.2L every week. Recently the Dr's have determined that it is time to start work ups for a liver transplant.
One of the conditions for her Transplant listing is she needs to raise a Minimum of 3000.00 Dollars for the anti rejection medications. That's just the beginning there will be many other costs involved as well but we have to start somewhere.
Sue is active within the VFW community as an Aux member. Her selfless devotion to make others happy and taken care of is inspirational. Even when she should be taking care of herself, she will do her level best to help those that need it.
