***SPECIAL EDITION***Come and get funky with a little Timba/Suelta on Monday, February 24th!
This edition will feature a VERY special guest: Miss Clarita Nieto from Santiago/Ithaca, to share with you her gorgeous movement. With Clara's style and musical ear, Jenny's dope dance moves, and Ethan's lame-ass dad jokes, this class will have it all! Two other things make this edition extra special:
- It'll be 90 minutes rather than our usual 60, so there's an extra half hour of dance goodness
- At the end, join Clara, Jenny, and Ethan to star in a VIDEO, which we'll share online with all of our fan.
You're gonna love this class whether it's your first time dancing suelta or you're an old vet. We'll mix concepts from a variety of Cuban dance styles with the goal of helping you to add lots of style, movement, authenticity, and flavor to your dance repertoire.
Suelta is danced solo--no partner needed--and is intended for that moment in the music when you want to get your groove on. The class will focus on developing control over your own movement and various ways of interpreting what's happening musically in our dance.
The class is open-level, appropriate for students of any/all dance experience.
