Suck It Up, Buttercup (Grants Pass)

A documentary made to spark change. Suck It Up, Buttercup is an investigative and deeply human documentary that brings together physicians, nurses, patients, families, and frontline leaders to reveal what is really happening inside America's healthcare system. Through candid interviews and raw on-the-ground stories, the film exposes the failures putting all of us at risk and highlights the systems and people who are proving that better is possible.
This free event is designed to inspire thoughtful conversation about how we can strengthen the healthcare system in the United States. Following the film screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion with Dr. Ron Turker, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who contributed to the film's development. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Code4. RSVP is optional but preferred due to limited capacity of the room.
