Originating from Japan, Kokedama (translation: "moss ball") is a centuries-old botanical art form where a plant's root system is wrapped in a specialized soil blend and encased in a lush layer of moss. These "string gardens" are a striking, modern alternative to traditional pots and can be displayed on a decorative tray or suspended as living art.
