🌟 About the Instructor
Dr. Deb Davies, DACM, Dipl. OM, L.O.M. is a seasoned acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, mentor, and women’s health specialist with over 25 years of experience in supporting women through the profound journeys of fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
Her practice is rooted in compassionate, individualized care—addressing the emotional and physical complexities of each stage of the childbearing cycle. Through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, and lifestyle guidance, she works to optimize fertility, support healthy, full-term pregnancies, and prepare patients for empowered births. As a former birth doula, Dr. Davies brings firsthand knowledge of labor support and offers specialized postpartum care, including C-section recovery and healing.
She is the owner of Jenkintown Acupuncture, a practitioner at the Won Institute’s Professional Clinic, and a clinic supervisor in the Won Student Clinic. Nationally, she is recognized as the mastermind behind the annual Perinatal Acupuncture Conference held in San Diego, and the creator and nurturer of the PUSH Professionals Perinatal Mentorship Program—an empowering community for acupuncturists looking to deepen their impact in women’s health.
Now based in Philadelphia, Dr. Davies is thrilled to connect with local birth professionals and serve as a trusted resource for perinatal care in the community. Her teaching is marked by empathy, clinical depth, and a deep passion for supporting the next generation of practitioners.
