About this Event
You're over the summer and you're having visions of veg?
NEW! During this blisteringly hot time of year, the last thing on most growers’ minds is fall vegetables such as kale and carrots. But now is actually the time to begin planning the fall vegetable garden! This class with Extension Agent Matthew Orwat will cover plants that need to be started now as transplants for the successful fall garden as well as seeds to buy now for direct sowing in September and October. Seeding media mixtures, planting depth and indoor transplant production will be discussed, including the latest hydroponic and LED seed starting systems, and there's plenty of time to get your questions answered, too! FREE.
Don't miss this chance to learn what you need to know to be prepared for the fall season!
