SUBZERO @ Turntable Gallery

Subzero is a performance combining music, poetry, local people's stories recorded in sound and recovered by seagulls, histories of the now, of yesterday's promised and negated future. Community & individual dramas combine and disperse as the tide draws beach shells into its belly. Come and discover the live performance for four days only, in the wider context of the exhibition curated by Darren Neave and Dale Christopher Wells.

The work is local, for and by Grimsby; and universal - telling stories of loss, grief, joy and spiritual renewal. In the words of artist & academic Fig Docher, "the whole thing is about the fleetingly eternal, the eternally fleeting, the unbearably gentle slowness of being that passes all too quickly".
