Suburban Homesteading: Build Your Own Terrarium!

Bring the garden indoors and create your own miniature landscape! In this hands-on program, UW-Madison Extension Horticulture Educator Jacob Kluza will help us explore the basics of building and caring for a terrarium, including choosing the right container, growing media, plants, and placement. We’ll talk about how terrariums work as small ecosystems and what plants need to stay healthy in a closed or open environment. Participants will then put what they’ve learned into practice by creating their own terrarium to take home and enjoy.

Free and open to the public. Please register by Monday, November 16 to ensure we have the necessary supplies!

Please contact Hannah if you have questions at 920-886-6315.
