Submitting an IRB Application and Writing your SoTL Proposal
Description:
Before beginning your research, you will need to get approval to work with student subjects, and that process includes an application that can seem a bit intimidating. This session will walk you through what a successful research application requires and will be held with the help of a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB approves any research that involves human subjects, and almost all SoTL research requires an application to the IRB.
Facilitator:
Dr. Karen Lee Perell-Gerson, QEP Director
Dr. Susan Bussey, Professor of English and CTE Affiliate Faculty of Integrative Learning
