Preston Charles, aka SubDocta, exploded onto the scene in 2017 with his wildlysuccessful single “2009 Was Tight”, catching support from some of the biggest namesin dance music. SubDocta is known for producing his own brand of dubstep and bassmusic thathe has dubbed “West Coast Wobble”, paying tribute to his upbringing on thewest coast of the US.Since 2018, SubDocta has been seen on a number of high profile tours, playingcountless sold out shows with Ganja White Night, Excision, Riot Ten, Dirt Monkey, andBoogie T, amongst others. He also headlined 3 of his own tours since 2022 with supportacts like Zingara, Black Carl, and sfam while having performed at multiple festivalsincluding Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Wakaan Fest, Dancefestopia, Freaky Deaky andmore. Frequently supported by his peers, SubDocta has released many EPs andsingles over the years and a full length album with prominent labels SubcarbonRecords, Wakaan Records, Bassrush, Deadbeats, Drama Club and more.
