Stínesten Gallery Open House: Returning to the Land Exhibition

Join us for open-house style sessions at the Stínesten Gallery and the inaugural solo exhibition by local Sayisi Dene photographer and filmmaker Gina Bussidor.

Returning to the Land explores the healing power of reconnecting with the natural world. It considers this relationship as a path to both cultural and personal restoration. Using photographic storytelling and short film, featured artist Gina Bussidor reflects on the intersections of memory, identity, and environment. Rooted in the Bussidor’s experience as an Indigenous person, the work also extends an invitation to all people to rediscover their relationship with the land as a source of resilience, reflection, and renewal.

Space in the gallery is limited, and to accommodate public interest, open-house style timeslots will be scheduled for Saturday, October 25th from 3PM to 5PM and Saturday, November 1st from 1PM to 3PM.
