Combat Fitness Martial Arts is proud and honored to host Sensei Erik Paulson to the Philadelphia area. Sensei Erik is the founder and head instructor of the Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW) Association and operates his own academy, CSW Training Center, in Fullerton, CA.
Sensei Erik is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Judo and was recently promoted to the distinguished rank of Seventh-Degree, Red & Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Rigan Machado. He is also a Full Instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts/Kali, and Silat under Guro Dan Inosanto. Sensei Erik is the first American to win the World Light-Heavy Weight Shooto Title in Japan. He has trained MMA fighters such as Josh Barnett, Ken Shamrock, Renato Sobral, Cub Swanson, James Wilks, and Brock Lesnar.
