The Sturgis Chamber's Annual Parade of Lights will take place on Friday, December 6th 2024 starting at 6PM! Attendees are encouraged to browse shops along the parade route before, during, and after the event to support our local retailers.Sturgis Chamber's Annual Parade of Lights
Friday, December 6th 2024
Start at 6:00PM (Downtown around 6:45PM)

PARADE ROUTE:
4 PM Float Line-Up (tentative pending approval):
Floats will line up in the Sturgis United Methodist Church parking lot starting at 4pm, then move onto Ball Park Road heading south when the parade starts at 6pm. Floats will continue in the line moving south and east over the railroad and onto Junction Avenue, to continue north then west on Main Street (full details below).
6 PM Parade Start (tentative pending approval):
- Parade floats move south and east from the United Methodist Church down Ball Park Road towards Junction Avenue.
- Turn left onto Junction Avenue.
- Turn right onto Harmon Street.
- Turn left onto Fulton Street.
- Turn left onto Park Street.
- Turn right onto Junction Avenue and follow for 10 blocks.
- Turn left onto Main Street and follow for 4 blocks.
Parade End:
End at Main & 4th Street - disperse or circle back to Ball Park Road.

A panel of judges will determine winners in the following categories:

TO ENTER:
The parade is open to any and all businesses, clubs, teams, and individuals! Registration fees are as follows:
• Sturgis Chamber Non-Members: $20 per unit**
• Sturgis Chamber Members: First two units FREE! $10 per additional unit.
**1 vehicle engine = 1 unit; a trailer float may be included with a vehicle for no additional charge. Horses, motorcycles, ATVs count as a 0.5 unit.
Deadline for Registration: Wednesday, December 4th by 5pm!
1 Day Late Registration: Additional $10
Non-Registered Floats: Additional $20
Please pick up your float number for judging from the Chamber office before the parade (numbers are magnetized to stick to the passenger side of your vehicle).
Please submit the form linked below, or contact the Sturgis Chamber office at 2040 Junction Avenue to register your float and pay your $20 fee (if a non-member).
