Delighted to be hosting an early Sunday evening of punk at the library! We have three great bands, Stupid World, Heart On and a brand new Oxford band Asterix!Stupid World are a new-ish melodic hardcore punk based across Sheffield, Norwich and Bristol, featuring members of Gimic, Dogeyed, Ganglions and others. Think Shook Ones, Lifetime and early Saves the Day.
Heart On are punk duo from London with scrappy hardcore influences, and Asterix are brand new grunge band from Oxford who tell us they have ‘a rough sound with experimental tones over a melancholy alt-rock backbone’ - playing what I think will be their first ever show!
We’ll be running the show a little earlier than usual - Doors 6pm
Asterix 6:30pm
Heart On 7:30pm
Stupid World 8:30pm
Done and dusted by 9:30. Come and rock and get home in time for bed.
